Tabbetha McCale Evans, a Kansas City native, is a designer of textiles, clothing, and jewelry. She has designed for Peruvian Connection since 1994. Deeply inspired by ethnic hand-made textiles, she translates those inspirations into knitting, felting, and printed textiles transforming them into bohemian inspired clothing. Tabbetha launched her own jewelry line in 2013, including one of a kind and small production runs of pieces made from felt, beads, and metals. Mostly using brass, copper, and sometimes silver, the jewelry also has a bohemian flair. In 2015 Tabbetha was fortunate enough to be included in the West 18th Street Fashion show “Invitiational Summer”. In 2016, Tabbetha participated for the West 18th Street Fashion Show “Wild Summer”.
Her designs have been worn by Pippa Middleton, Jennifer Hudson, and Rachel Ray. You can find her work at www.Tabbetha.com, her Facebook page Tabbetha and on Etsy under Tabbknits.
